Irene completed a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Monash University and Latrobe University, respectively. Over the last 13 years, Irene has practiced in large non-for profit organisations, schools and reputable private practices.
Throughout Irene’s career, she has developed a keen interest and focus in therapy for children with articulation and phonology disorders, language delay and disorders, auditory processing difficulties, fluency difficulties, autism spectrum disorder, pragmatic/social language delays and delayed play skills. Irene has also successfully delivered various literacy programs within a school setting.
Irene’s passion is working with pre-school and school aged children with communication difficulties. She enjoys the challenges and rewards that each child brings. Overcoming communication difficulties can be challenging for clients and the ones closest to them. Irene adopts a multidisciplinary approach in treating clients whereby she works with teachers, psychologists and other health care professionals to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and their families.
With a Bachelor of Early Childhood and over 25 years of experience in the Early Childhood and Education sector, Sharyn is a valued member of our administration team, dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our clients and their families. She is passionate about celebrating children's autonomy, effort, and achievements. What she enjoys most about working at Teach 2 Talk Speech Pathology is the strong team atmosphere and the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, children, and families to make a meaningful difference.
Chunyan holds a Master of Speech Pathology from the University of Melbourne and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has gained valuable experience across a range of settings, including mainstream schools, hospitals, private clinics, and community health centres.
Chunyan has a keen interest in supporting children with articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, and social communication difficulties. She is passionate about helping children find their voice and reach their communication potential through personalised and engaging therapy.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Chunyan enjoys working with families from diverse backgrounds. Outside of speech pathology, she loves going for walks, listening to music, travelling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Chunyan has been excited to begin her journey with the Teach 2 Talk team and is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children she supports.
Megan is a warm and dedicated speech pathologist who completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. She first joined Teach 2 Talk as a student during her final clinical placement in 2024 and became an official member of the team shortly after graduating. As a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia, Megan is passionate about helping children thrive in the areas of language, literacy, and articulation. She brings a thoughtful and enthusiastic approach to her therapy sessions, always striving to create a supportive and engaging environment for her clients. Megan is multilingual and enjoys connecting with families in English, Malay, and Mandarin. Outside of work, she loves curling up with a great book, a cosy blanket, and a hot cup of tea.
Victoria Zainal is a warm and dedicated Speech Pathologist who has been helping children and adults communicate for over 30 years. Speech pathology has been her passion and constant throughout her life, and she feels privileged to support individuals of all abilities to find their "voice" and connect with the world around them. Victoria firmly believes that every child has the capacity to communicate and that working closely with families and other care team members is essential to helping each child reach their full potential. She is passionate about inclusion, respect, and giving every person the tools they need to live their best life. Victoria has a special interest in Key Word Sign and has been using it for over 20 years to support both understanding and expression. She is also a Key Word Sign presenter, has trained new presenters, and served on the Key Word Sign Victoria Committee. Victoria joined Teach 2 Talk Speech Pathology over twelve months ago and loves the warmth and professionalism of the team. She has also enjoyed mentoring younger speech pathologists again, something she finds deeply rewarding. In addition to her speech pathology work, Victoria is a qualified Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner and has many years of experience supporting teenagers and young adults with complex communication and behavioural needs. She has a particular passion for working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and values the relationships she has built with them and their families throughout her career.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys amateur theatre, spending time with her two adult sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, and relaxing at home with her two lively (and slightly mischievous!) cats.
